How to upgrade from Economy to Business class

Join frequent flyer program of the airline while you’re traveling.

Book your tickets through a travel agent and find out whether there are any special promotions featuring upgrades. Your travel agent might find that your membership in the frequent flyer club makes you eligible for an instant upgrade.

Arrive early if you were not able to get an upgrade when making your reservation. Dress nicely and ask the flight attendants if there are any upgrades available on the flight. Flight attendants say if passengers dress properly and ask politely chances of getting a business class seats increases.

Ask the gate agent how much an upgrade would cost. If business class sections aren’t full, the airline could charge less for an upgrade.
